This is the second show at this newly built showground, situated in the picturesque valley of Ponte de Lima, _ hours drive north of Oporto. This show will take place on 27, 28 & 29 June and will include National Championship Dressage, Working Equitation, Show Jumping, Carriage Driving and evening displays.
The 4 night group trip includes flights to Oporto, 4*hotel accommodation and transfers.

The trip to Golegã Horse Fair is our most popular holiday in Portugal for both equestrian and non equestrian visitors. The Fair has taken place since the mid-18th century. Set in the small agricultural town of Golegã, approx. 1_ hour's drive from Lisbon, it is a 5-day, 24 hour spectacle of the Lusitano horse - breed classes for 3 yr old colts & 4 yr old stallions, dressage classes, driving, the finals of the national championships for Working Equitation, Portuguese equitation classes and much more….. There are also evening displays by the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art and by Luis Valença's Centro Equestre da Leziría Grande.

Residencial Cavaleiros de Cristo is a small family-run hotel in Tomar, 30 minutes drive from Golegã. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms; the staff are very helpful - this will be the 18th year we have stayed at this residencial. Located in the centre of this historic town, Residencial Cavaleiros de Cristo has proved popular with visitors over the years due to the proximity of good restaurants, shops, banks etc. Tomar is also a good base for those who wish to go sightseeing.
